We’re Chrissy and Alex, a husband‑and‑wife team who you maybe surprised to hear our background isn't horticulture. Between us, we have more than 60 years’ experience within the construction industry as engineers — but life on our small holding, and a shared love of being outdoors, slowly pulled us toward growing flowers.

What began as a few rows of cut flowers during the very surreal time of Lockdown became something that helped to stay grounded during a very strange time. It gave us structure, fresh air, and a sense of purpose when everything else felt uncertain. From there, the growing simply… grew.

​

We now grow seasonal flowers using methods with sustainability in mind and encourages biodiversity. Field‑grown flowers have a different character — they move naturally, carry scent, and reflect the place they come from. We’re proud to offer local customers and florists a seasonal, thoughtful alternative to imported blooms.

Our workshops came from the same instinct: creating space to slow down and make something with your hands. They’re not formal floristry classes, but relaxed, practical sessions shaped by the season — whether that’s a winter wreath, a spring jar, or a summer morning in the field. The focus is on taking a breath, reconnecting, and enjoying the process.
